What is the difference between the Knob Controlled option, and the Smart Knob + Tuya App + Alexa Controlled option? How do I select the right one for me?

Knob Controlled option: Offers a single method of control via the included physical knob—simple, hassle-free, and no app setup required.

Smart Knob + Tuya App + Alexa option: Provides three control methods: the knob, the Tuya mobile app, or voice via Alexa. Requires initial pairing in the Tuya App after installation.

What is the pairing and installation process for the Chronicle?
  1. Unbox and verify all components (refer to your installation video for details).
  2. Assemble the fixture if required.
  3. Pairing:
    • Knob option: Toggle the knob before mounting to confirm pairing works.
    • Smart/Tuya/Alexa option: Follow the pairing steps in your specific installation guide video to link with the Tuya App and Alexa.
  4. Mount the fixture to your ceiling according to the bracket instructions.
Does this fixture pass safety regulations in my country?
Yes—the Chronicle holds ETL certification for North American standards and CE certification for European standards.
Can this fixture be installed with a TRIAC light control system in the wall?
A TRIAC dimmer will not interfere with the Chronicle’s normal operation, but it cannot control any smart features.
Can the illumination settings on the Chronicle Linear Suspension Light be adjusted?
Yes—the Chronicle supports adjustable color temperature from 2700 K to 5000 K on both upper and lower lighting, with dimmable brightness from 0 % to 100 %.
How does the Knob Control work?
The knob control has two adjustment elements:
  • Buttons (macro): Four pressable buttons on top for presets (e.g., press Button 1 to toggle upper lights; double-press for color changes).
  • Belt (micro): Rotatable belt around the knob for fine-tuning brightness and color temperature.
Can the length of the suspension cord be adjusted?

What is the recommended environment for this Linear Suspension Light?
The Chronicle excels as ambient, accent, or task lighting. Its larger size makes it ideal over a dining table, kitchen countertop, or any setting needing ample illumination.
Can the Chronicle Linear Suspension Light be installed on a slanted ceiling?
Yes—take extra care when drilling and securing the mounting bracket on an angle.
Can the light sources of the Chronicle be changed and replaced?
No—the Chronicle uses integrated LEDs; the light source is built into the fixture and is not user-replaceable.
